VIRTUAL WINE TASTING

Turn your dining room into a tasting room. PROJECT M brings the Willamette Valley to you! You might have to keep your distance socially; however, you can still get up close and personal with PROJECT M Winemaker Jerry Murray.

Here is how it works:
Purchase one of the "Virtual Tasting Packs" below. You will receive our Virtual Tasting Guide containing tips to make your experience more enjoyable as well as links to purchase either a private appointment ($100) or a “seat” in one of our scheduled group tastings ($25, maximum of 12 “cells” per session).

Schedule the appointment. You will receive a confirmation with that includes a Zoom link for the event.

On the day of the appointment, chill your whites, open your reds, turn on your device, and get ready to be entertained and informed. All appointments will be with Winemaker Jerry Murray. A natural storyteller, Jerry will discuss the wines, his winemaking philosophy. He will likely add a tangent or two, and maybe, if you're lucky, a rant!

Each of the virtual tasting packs below is designed to tell a specific story and explore a particular theme. No substitutions, please. However, if there is a wine you'd like to taste that isn't included in the pack you're choosing, add a bottle to your shopping cart, and we can discuss it during the Tasting!

    The Portfolio Virtual Tasting Pack is an exploration of the range of the PROJECT M portfolio. It includes our 2018 Acclara Sparkling Rosé, 2017 Schlüssel Riesling, 2017 Anicca Chardonnay and, our 2017 Personify Pinot Noir. You'll learn the story behind "Schlüssel. He will discuss his 15-year quest for the "infinitely drinkable" Rosé and why "sweet-sour" is excellent for chicken but not Chardonnay.

    FOUR DIFFERENT PINOT NOIR BOTTLINGS

    At PROJECT M, we believe every wine tells a story told in three chapters: people, place, and time. These chapters are the formative forces that interact with the multitude of variables that shape the character of a wine. This Tasting explains these formative forces and presents wines that honor them. You will taste the Personify Pinot Noir, exemplifying the influence of people on wine. Demonstrating the significance of place, you will taste two single-vineyard Pinot Noirs, the Momtazi Vineyard, and Chehalem Mountain Vineyard. Representing time is the Kairos Pinot Noir, which, like time, never repeats itself. Each vintage is crafted from a specific creative impulse, is given a unique name, and bears a new label. You will taste the 2017 Kairos Pinot Noir, tilted "Polarity." Many say that Jerry talks about wines differently than most winemakers, especially when he discusses formative forces. This Tasting will be unlike any other you've done before.
