“Jerry Murray has made a name for himself by producing vibrant, sharply delineated, balanced Pinot Noirs. His 2019s are no exception. I always find plenty of seductive fruit and expressive bouquets in Murray's wines, and while this year's set of releases deliver plenty of flavor depth, they are distinctly graceful, with discreet tannins that won't get in the way of early enjoyment.”

Wild yeasts also contribute to the complexity, and the funky characteristics that can sometimes overtake such fermentations are kept well in check. They are textbook examples of getting the most specific and best flavors possible by letting the vintage guide the winemaking decisions.
