Crushed cherry aromas leap from the glass of PROJECT M’s 2021 Personify Pinot Noir. The cherries are intercalated with notes of baked nut bread and spicy oak. The wine enters with a firm frame lavishly wrapped in a soft cloth. Sweet red fruits, both fresh and candied, emerge in the midpalate and rest on top of subtle notes of coffee, thyme, and exotic wood. The tannins weave a silky texture that is nearly hypnotic, seemingly keeping the finish of sweet fruits from ending.
