Art Meets Wine in the High Desert, an exclusive fundraising event sponsored by the Sunriver Women’s Club, returns May 15-20, 2023.

Held during Oregon Wine Month, this week-long event starts with a virtual wine pairing class followed by several days of virtual wine tasting – a great opportunity to host a house party and share award-winning Oregon wines with friends or family! The event’s finale, Art Meets Wine “Live!”, will be held on Saturday, May 20, at the SHARC in Sunriver. 

Art Meets Wine in the High Desert benefits the philanthropy program of the Sunriver Women’s Club (SRWC). The SRWC philanthropy program awards grants to local nonprofit agencies with the goal of providing a strong network of services that will improve the lives of the most vulnerable citizens in our south Deschutes County community. Since 1999, the SRWC philanthropy program has awarded over $771,000 to programs providing services to women, children, families and seniors in our south Deschutes County community.

PROJECT M will be the featured winery at Anam Cara’s “Homeless Winemaker” series supporting small producers who have no tasting room of their own. Winemaker Jerry Murray will be on hand to guide tasters through a curated selection of PROJECT M Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling.

PROJECT M winemaker Jerry D. Murray will be on hand to pour two PROJECT M Pinot Noirs featured in the Carlton Winemakers Studio Spring Wine Club Shipment; the 2019 Personify Pinot Noir and the 2019 Filament Vineyard Pinot Noir from the Eola-Amity Hills.

PROJECT M is thrilled to be the Featured Winery for the month of March at Red Hills Market. Winemaker Jerry D. Murray will be on hand on Monday, March 6th to pour the newly released 2021 Anicca Chardonnay and the 2017 Chehalem Mountain Vineyard Pinot Noir.

The Locals Night menu will feature Coq au vin which will pair beautifully with the Chehalem Mount Vineyard Pinot Noir.
